Seagate Launches 3.5-inch HD 1 TeraBytes Capacity

Seagate launched a 3.5-inch Hard Drive first in the world with 1 TeraBytes (TB) of data storage capacity per disk drive. Present in GoFlex Desk products from Seagate is the first load of this new HD, provides data storage capacity up to 3 TB and an areal density of up to 625 Gigabit per square inch.

Seagate ready to sell its pride product, HD Barracuda 3.5-inch desktop with a capacity of 3 TeraBytes on 3 discs disk, enough capacity to store up to 120 high-definition films, 1,500 video games, thousands of photos or countless hours of digital music - to a distribution channel in mid-2011. This drive will be available with a capacity of 2 TB, 1 TB and 1.5 TeraBytes.

External Drive GoFlex Desk corresponds well with the operational system (OS) Windows and Mac computers. Each drive includes an NTFS driver for Mac, which allows the drives to store and access files from a computer with Windows and Mac OS X without the need to reformat first. GoFlex Desk External Drive 3.5-inch has a smooth black design which can be placed vertically or horizontally to accommodate the placement of the desktop.
